PT Elang Mahkota Teknologi Tbk (EMTK), also known as Emtek Group, was founded in 1983. At first, the company provided personal computer services, but it has evolved into an integrated group with three main business activities: Media, Telecommunications and IT Solutions, and Connectivity. The media unit consists of three TV channels: SCTV, Indosiar, and Jakarta-based O Channel. The solution division provides solutions for the telecommunication, banking, and retail payment industries. The connectivity division has several under-development projects, including wireless digital pay-TV service and wireless broadband internet service.
