JAKARTA - PT Saratoga Investama Sedaya Tbk (SRTG), whose stake is owned by vice presidential candidate Sandiaga Uno, has sold its asset to PT Toba Bara Sejahtera Tbk (TOBA), owned by Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs Luhut B. Panjaitan, and its subsidiary PT Toba Bara Energi.
According to the information disclosure released by SRTG, the asset sold is 16.7% stake in PT Batu Hitam Perkasa with a sales value of US$ 9 million or Rp 139.50 billion.
As reported by CNBC Indonesia, the sales also include the ownership of Batu Hitam Perkasa in PT Paiton Energy, a power plant company established in February 1994.
Not only from Saratoga, TOBA and Toba Energy also acquired from Batu Hitam with an acquisition value of US$ 54 million or Rp 789.11 billion, which will be owned directly and indirectly by both companies. (MS)
