JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo stressed that the regional quarantine policy related to the prevention of the Covid-19 outbreak was the matter of the central government. At present, the central government is preparing the regulations that can act as a guide for regional governments in handling the outbreak.
This was conveyed by President Joko Widodo in his briefing at the limited meeting regarding Covid-19 given through a video conference from the Bogor Presidential Palace, West Java, yesterday (30/3). "I remind that the health quarantine policy, including regional quarantine, is the authority of the central government, not regional governments," he said quoted from Setkab.go.id.
The President requested all ministers to ensure that the central and regional governments have the same vision in preventing the Covid-19 outbreak. (LK/AR)
