JAKARTA - Australian biotech company Vaxine Pty Ltd has partnered PT Pyridam Farma Tbk (PYFA) to produce coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccine candidate COVAX-19 in Indonesia.
This was announced by Pyridam Corporate Secretary Arvin Sutikno following the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for the commercialisation and manufacturing of the COVID-19 vaccine in Indonesia on Wednesday (14/10).
Pyridam's board of directors, he said, signed the MoU on Monday (12/10). "COVAX-19 is currently in phase I of a clinical trial in Australia," he said.
Mr Sutikno added that the MoU was signed in accordance with a definitive commercial agreement between the company and Vaxine to manufacture the vaccine. (LK/MS)
