JAKARTA - PT Pertamina (Persero) continues the digitisation program by implementing a real-time monitoring system for fuel sales and supply at 5,518 units of public fuel filling stations (SPBU) in Indonesia. This was conveyed by M. Haryo Yunianto, Director of Business Support of PT Pertamina (Persero) in a press release quoted on Tuesday (19/1).
He conveyed that the program provides accurate data and information to Pertamina, which can be used to make strategic decisions regarding the supply of fuel at gas stations and services to the public. "The digitization of SPBUs also monitors sales of subsidized diesel fuel, namely recording vehicle police numbers using the pre-purchase system," he said.
According to him, the application of the pre purchase system has reached 82 percent of the total transactions per day. However, the use of video analytic technology (camera) in recording vehicles that fill up at gas stations is still being studied further.
Mas'ud Khamid, President Director of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Sub Holding Commercial & Trading of PT Pertamina (Persero) added that monitoring of fuel receipts during loading and unloading from fuel trucks can be done with the SPBU digitization system. "Through dashboard monitoring, developments at the gas stations can be monitored to ensure that fuel supply is sufficient," he said. (LK/LM)
