07 July 2021 17:06

JAKARTA. PT Bank Aladin Syariah Tbk (BANK) announces its latest partnership with PT Sumber Alfaria Trijaya Tbk (AMRT), or Alfamart, and PT Media Dokter Investama, or Halodoc.

Basuki Hidayat, the Operational Director of BANK, claims that this cooperation would facilitate the company’s penetration through the Alfamart retail network. “We believe this action would boost financial inclusivity in Indonesia, considering that Alfamart is the biggest convenience store chain and they are located all across Indonesia,” Hidayat explains through a press conference earlier today (7/7).

BANK would also support the telehealth services provided by Halodoc. This alliance allows Halodoc services to be accessed by an even broader scope of users. “Since the beginning, Halodoc always try to simplify the healthcare access for the locals. However, we also acknowledge that we could not tackle this mission alone,” Doddy Lukito, the Co-Founder and Chief Business Officer of Halodoc, adds.

According to idnfinancials.com, Bank Aladin was previously titled Bank Net Indonesia Syariah. This banking company was established in 1994 under the name PT Bank Maybank Nusa International, a joint bank between Malaysia and Indonesia.

Currently, 60.55% of BANK’s shares are under the control of PT NTI Global Indonesia. The remaining 39.45% are dispersed among the public investors. (KR/ZH)
