JAKARTA. Anderson Investment Pte Ltd sold off 0.83% of its shares in PT Matahari Putra Prima Tbk (MPPA), leaving its ownership percentage over this retail company to drop to 11.88%.
The sales of 69,830,600 shares were executed in several transactions spanning from January 5 to 14, 2022. The total divestment earned the company IDR 23.91 billion. Furthermore, Anderson Investment’s portion in MPPA depletes to 11.88% from the initial 12.71% with this divestment.
“The transaction is intended to divest the directly owned shares,” Danny Kojongian, Corporate Secretary of Matahari Putra Prima, confirmed in the information disclosure yesterday (19/1). (AM/ZH)
