JAKARTA – PT Avia Avian Tbk (AVIA), a paint manufacturer, expands its distribution flow by gradually establishing 35 mini distribution centres in 35 different locations in Indonesia.
Kurnia Hadi Sinanto, Director of AVIA, mentioned that these mini distribution spots will complement the 139 established distribution centres. “Until today, we manage 139 distribution centres in 139 different locations, 105 of which are entirely owned by us, while the remaining belongs to third parties,” he explained in detail in the press release, quoted today (13/9).
Sinanto further claimed that AVIA’s distribution centres are spread across the country and 98 cities, gathering 54,500 building supply stores as clients. The company aims to manage 140 distribution centres of its own by 2026.
In the first half of 2022, AVIA’s total sales clocked up to IDR 3.38 trillion, shifting 4.5% year-on-year (yoy) from IDR 3.23 trillion in H1 2021. The number of its customers also grew 3.9% from the number reported in the first half of 2021. (LK/ZH)
