JAKARTA. PT Fortune Indonesia Tbk (FORU) has prepared several business strategies to increase its revenue in 2023.
These strategies are carefully laid out considering how FORU still suffered a net loss of IDR 2.8 billion until the end of September (9M) 2022. “Most marketing experts choose to focus on specific aspects of marketing activities instead of reaching out to consumers simultaneously through multiplatform channels,” Ratna Puspitasari, CEO of FORU, explained in the press release.
Prior to this, Puspitasari claimed that market actors were still showing a “wait-and-see” attitude despite the passing crisis of COVID-19. However, the aftermath of the pandemic still remains for some of business owners.
“We realise that the scope of marketing activities is highly dynamic and dependent on digital technology development. Therefore, the focus of business development will be on promoting more specified unique selling point of this digital service,” Puspitasari stated.
This condition allows FORU to gain confidence in boosting its performance in 2023 through the implementation of new strategies. These strategies include enhancing the effectiveness of operational activities of the company, changing up the mindset of creative product development, and improving human resources.
Based on IDNFinancials data, most operating revenue of FORU in 9M 2022 came from the advertisement production business line, generating IDR 9.34 billion. Then, the media business line contributed IDR 8.39 billion, entailed by the public relation services of IDR 7.9 billion and digital production of IDR 4.78 billion.
FORU’s consolidated operating revenue until September 2022 reportedly reached IDR 30.5 billion. Meanwhile, the revenue in this period shrank 11.65% year-on-year (yoy) or compared to the same period last year. (KR/ZH)
