PT Batulicin Nusantara Maritim Tbk (BESS) was established in 2011 in Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan. It is the subsidiary of PT Batulicin Enam Sembilan Transportasi, which is also a subsidiary of PT Bintang Enam Sembilan. In 2011 it started the business with 2 sets of tug boats and barges, but currently, it owns 15 more sets to the assets and a landing craft tank (LCT). The main business is transshipment activity of transporting coal from tugs and barges to the mother vessel, which then will be transported to other places. The head office is in Tanah Bumbu, South Kalimantan.
