JAKARTA - On Friday, December 15, the volume of foreign investors buying and selling shares reached 6 billion shares; 6.35 billion shares were bought, and 6.58 billion shares were sold. The net foreign volume finally closed at minus 229.70 million shares, with GOTO and BUMI having the highest sales volumes. Foreign investors recently released 1.25 billion shares of the tech company PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) and 1.05 billion shares of the mining holding company PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI). The net volumes of the two issuers were also the lowest, at -200.29 million GOTO and -102.80 million BUMI.

Furthermore, PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (BRMS), a subsidiary of BUMI that operates in the mineral mining sector, came in next with a sales volume of 781.51 million shares and a net volume of -78.25. A total of 334.06 million shares of PT Smartfren Telecom Tbk (FREN) were also released, with a net volume of -72.57 million, and this was followed by the sale of 53.25 million shares of the palm producer PT Nusantara Sawit Sejahtera Tbk (NSSS), with a net volume of -50.75 million.

Meanwhile, PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) had the highest net volume this time, with 114.38 million shares, after foreigners purchased 265.05 million shares. PT Bukalapak.com Tbk (BUKA) came in second with 80.74 million net volumes after nearly 130 million of its shares were purchased. PT Trimegah Bangun Persada Tbk (NCKL) and PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) then reported net volumes of around 54–59 million shares, with foreign buying volumes of 277.26 million NCKL and 219,740,000 BBRI, respectively. The top-sell lineup was then closed by PT Astrindo Nusantara Infrastruktur Tbk (BIPI), which operates in the oil and gas exploration sector, with a foreign purchase volume of 43.77 million and a net volume of 38.97 million shares.
