PT Delta Djakarta Tbk (DLTA) is a manufacturer and distributor of pilsner beer and stout beer, established in Indonesia as a German brewery in 1932, as Archipel Brouwerij, NV. Then, the company was bought by a Dutch company and changed its name to NV De Oranje Brouwerij. In 1970, the company adopted the name PT Delta Djakarta. As it grew and became one of the major players in the domestic beer industry, it went IPO in 1984. In 1990, the controlling shares were bought by San Miguel Corporation, through its subsidiary San Miguel Malaysia. Currently, PT Delta Djakarta has a dealership network all over Indonesia, produces and exports pilsner beer under the Batavia brand, and exports San Miguel Cerveza Negra to Thailand and Vietnam. Some well-known brands in Indonesia include Anker Bir, Carlsberg, San Miguel Pale Pilsen, and Kuda Putih.
