Four issuers acquired fresh investors
JAKARTA - On Thursday, January 5, four issuers saw the arrival of new investors with more than 5% ownership. First, PT Mega Manunggal Property Tbk (MMLP), a logistics property issuer, became a new investment instrument for UOB Kay Hian Pte Ltd, which directly purchased 1,259,737,600 shares for 18.29% ownership. This time, however, another foreign investor, Bridge Leed Limited, released 1,252,525,300 MMLP shares.
PT Taspen (Persero) is also a new investor in another state-owned company, PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk (BBTN), by pocketing 697.75 million BBTN shares, or 5.14% ownership. PT Jaya Real Property Tbk (JRPT), a property company developing the Bintaro Jaya area, also recently bought 5.06% ownership, or 695.65 million shares, of its own company. After that, the individual investor Hotman Jutapea became a new shareholder in the issuer that just went public, PT Data Sinergitama Jaya Tbk (ELIT), by buying up 101.66 million shares, or 5% ownership. Finally, UOB Kay Hian Pte Ltd increased its holdings in PT Eastparc Hotel Tbk (EAST) by purchasing another 2.04 million shares.
Tumiyana, an individual investor, on the other hand, sold 50 million shares of PT Widodo Makmur Perkasa Tbk (WMPP), while 10.15 million shares of PT Sinar Mas Multiartha Tbk (SMMA) were let go from their controlling pocket, PT Sinar Mas Cakrawala. GOTO Peopleverse Fund, a foreign investor, also released 18.21 million shares of PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia (GOTO), while UOB Kay Hian (Hong Kong) Ltd sold 3.73 million shares of PT MNC Kapital Indonesia Tbk (BCAP).
