JAKARTA – PT Mitra Investindo Tbk (MITI) has realised IDR 178.63 billion of its rights issue proceeds of IDR 181.12 billion. As of now, the proceeds are down to IDR 634.55 million.

Diah Pertiwi Gandhi, Corporate Secretary of Mitra Investindo, revealed that the remaining rights issue proceeds are deposited in Bank Mandiri with an interest rate of 0.6%. “The remaining funds will be allocated to the company’s working capital,” she added earlier today (11/1).

Approximately 99.64% of the rights issue proceeds will be used to acquire 99% of shares of PT Pelayaran Karana Line (PKL) for IDR 116.65 billion and 70% of PT Karya Abadi Luhur (KAL) for IDR 68.11 billion.

For the record, MITI initially aimed to score IDR 257.17 billion from this rights issue. (LK/ZH)
