Gov’t to hold another sukuk auction next week worth IDR 14 trillion
JAKARTA. The Indonesian government will hold an auction of Government Sharia Securities (lit. Surat Berharga Syariah Negara/SBSN) or state sukuk next Tuesday (24/1).
The set of sukuk that will be offered consists of one series of Sharia Treasury Notes (lit. Surat Perbendaharaan Negara – Syariah/SPN-S) and five series of Project-Based Sukuk (PBS).
The SPN-S series will be offered with a discount, while PBS series are equipped with a yield rate from 5.375% to 6.875%.
The auction will be an open auction, adopting a multiple price scheme. All interested parties may submit their bids through the primary dealers authorized directly by the Ministry of Finance.
Based on IDNFinancials data, the Indonesian government had previously held a state sukuk auction on January 10, 2023. In said round of auction, the incoming bids clocked up to IDR 17.45 trillion, while the awarded amount reached IDR 13.85 trillion, a slight decline from the initial indicative target of IDR 14 trillion.
