Bayu Berlian Makmur acquired 781 million shares of Widodo Makmur Unggas
JAKARTA - On Thursday, January 12, poultry farming company PT Bayu Berlian Makmur purchased 781,692,619 shares of PT Widodo Makmur Unggas Tbk (WMUU). The company, which is based in Sragen, Central Java, is the newest WMUU investor with a direct stake of 6.04%. PT Widodo Makmur Perkasa Tbk, however, as WMUU's parent company, is seen selling 176.09 million shares of its subsidiary, which is also engaged in the poultry industry.
PT IndoSterling Technomedia Tbk (TECH), a technology issuer, also changed ownership. OCBC Sec Pte Ltd S/A Hudson River Group Pte Ltd became TECH's new investor after purchasing 100 million shares from its controlling shareholder, PT Indosterling Sarana Investa. The Hudson River Group now owns 7.96% of TECH as a result of this purchase. Meanwhile, Prajogo Pangestu, an individual investor, added 279.67 million shares of PT Barito Pacific Tbk (BRPT), and PT Ramayana Lestari Sentosa Tbk (RALS) purchased 30 million of its own shares.
On the other hand, PT Exa Nusa Persada sold 100 million shares of computer trading issuer PT Tera Data Indonusa Tbk (AXIO), which was immediately followed by PT Berkah Global Investama selling 80 million shares of PT Berkah Beton Sadaya Tbk (BEBS). PT Lembur Sadaya Investama, the controlling shareholder of fashion issuer PT Bersama Zatta Jaya Tbk (ZATA), also released 40 million shares, while the controlling shareholder PT MNC Kapital Indonesia Tbk released 23.17 million shares of its subsidiary, PT Bank MNC Internasional Tbk (BABP).
