JAKARTA - On Tuesday, April 11, the net volume of foreign exchange was still negative, at roughly 837.61 million shares. This time, foreign investors bought 2.33 billion shares, while more than 3.17 billion shares were sold. The sales volume of PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) shares, which totaled 2.16 billion shares, had a significant impact on this high number, resulting in a negative net volume for GOTO of about -1.07 billion shares.

Other top-selling shares didn't record volumes as high as GOTO. With 37.65 million shares sold and a net volume of -28.07 million shares, PT Ace Hardware Indonesia Tbk's (ACES) shares had the second-highest sales. Then, with a net volume of roughly -26.36 million shares, foreign investors also sold nearly 30 million shares of PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (GIAA). In addition, foreign investors sold 19.65 million shares of PT Bank OCBC NISP Tbk (NISP) and 21.04 million shares of PT Surya Citra Media Tbk (SCMA) this time. The subsequent net volume for each of these two issuers was approximately -15 million shares.

On the other hand, foreign investors purchased 72.17 million shares of PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI) and 70.59 million shares of PT Nusantara Sawit Sejahtera Tbk (NSSS). The net volumes for the two issuers—47.97 million NSSS and 44.44 million BUMI—were considered high. However, the company with the highest net volume this time was PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM), at 53.51 million shares, after its 58.36 million shares were bought up by foreign buyers. Additionally, a sizeable amount of shares—roughly 57.61 million—of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) were purchased as well. Unfortunately, the net volume of BBRI was only about 36.78 million pieces. Finally, PT Smartfren Telecom Tbk (FREN) had a net volume of 31.19 million shares and a foreign purchase volume of 34.42 million shares. (KD)
