SMI to offer IDR 4 trillion bonds, setting highest coupon rate at 6.80%
JAKARTA. PT Sarana Multi Infrastruktur (Persero), a state-owned company engaged in the infrastructure financing sector, issues Shelf-Registration Bonds III Phase III Year 2023 with a total principal of IDR 4 trillion.
Said bonds are a part of a more extensive public offering program of Shelf-Registration Bonds III, targeting to raise IDR 20 trillion in total. Through this program, the company has issued bonds worth a total of IDR 4.54 trillion.
For Bonds Phase III Year 2023, SMI will offer bonds in three series. Series A offers bonds worth IDR 171.75 billion, Series B IDR 1.91 trillion, and Series C IDR 1.91 trillion.
The coupon attached to Series A is set to 5.90% per annum with a tenor of 370 days, followed by Series B’s coupon of 6.70% per annum with a 3-year tenor and Series C’s of 6.80% per annum with a 4-year tenor.
The public offering is set to take place from May 11 to 12, 2023, before being electronically distributed on May 17, 2023, and listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange on May 19, 2023.
For this bonds’ issuance, SMI has appointed 5 security companies as underwriters. They are PT BCA Sekuritas, PT BNI Sekuritas, PT CIMB Niaga Sekuritas, PT Indo Premier Sekuritas, and PT Mandiri Sekuritas. (KR/ZH)
