JAKARTA – The performance of PT Sumber Alfaria Trijaya Tbk (AMRT), the owner of Alfamart convenience store chain, has shown consistent improvement in the past three years. However, the annual profit growth from Q1 2022 to Q1 2023 is higher than the gap created between Q1 2021 to Q1 2022.

Based on the Q1 Financial Reports of AMRT compiled by IDNFinancials today (4/5), Alfamart recorded profit of IDR 791.13 billion in Q1 2023, 14.98% yoy higher from IDR 688.04 billion in Q1 2022, which proliferated 35.72% from IDR 506.95 billion seen in Q1 2021.

AMRT’s revenue in Q1 2023 was at IDR 16.16 trillion, shifting 14.22% from IDR 22.90 trillion seen in Q1 2022. Said achievement was also a result of 19.07% increase from the same period in 2021.

The food segment generated IDR 18.73 trillion of revenue, while non-food contributed sales of IDR 7.43 trillion. In the same period in 2022, food sales clocked up to IDR 15.67 trillion, followed by non-food of IDR 7.23 trillion. (LK/ZH)
