On the first trading day of May, net foreign volume was minus 566 million
JAKARTA - Net foreign was recorded at minus 566.76 million shares on the first trading day of May. On Tuesday, May 2, foreign investors purchased approximately 2.1 billion shares and sold approximately 2.66 billion shares. PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) continues to be the share with the lowest net volume as foreign investors sold 703.20 million shares of GOTO this time, bringing the net volume to around -91.31 million. PT Trimegah Bangun Persada Tbk (NCKL), on the other hand, became the share with the highest net volume this time, nearly 35 million shares, after foreigners purchased 111.50 million of its shares.
Following GOTO at the top sell list, PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI) shares sold by foreigners totaled 186.98 million, with the second lowest net volume of -73.91 million shares. Then came PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (GIAA), which had a net volume of -62.69 million after foreigners sold 67.69 million shares of GIAA. PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (TLKM) and PT Central Proteina Prima Tbk (CPRO) were the next two issuers to report net volumes in the range of minus 47–48 million shares. However, the volume of foreign sales to TLKM was 99.68 million shares, whereas CPRO only recorded half of that figure, around 47.67 million shares.
Meanwhile, another company, PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI), had the second highest net volume, which was around 32.65 million shares, with an 84.74 million foreign purchase volume. PT Nusantara Sawit Sejahtera Tbk (NSSS) is right behind BMRI with a net volume of nearly 20 million shares. According to reports, up to 32.16 million shares of this palm oil company have been added to foreign portfolios. The final two issuers, PT Ciputra Development Tbk (CTRA) and PT Bukalapak.com Tbk (BUKA), both reported a net volume of approximately 17 million shares. Nonetheless, CTRA's foreign purchases, which totaled 18.18 million shares, were significantly lower than BUKA's, which totaled 51.73 million shares. (KD)
