JAKARTA - After spending the first two trading days of May in the red zone, net foreign volume finally shifted into the green zone on Thursday, May 4. The net volume of foreign trade reached 348,017,200 shares, with foreigners purchasing 2.52 billion shares and selling 2.17 billion. This figure was driven by the net volume of PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) shares, which was also positive at 421.51 million shares, with foreigners purchasing 1.24 billion shares.

Following GOTO, PT Nusantara Sawit Sejahtera Tbk (NSSS) recorded a net volume of 37.32 million shares after foreign investors purchased 38.71 million shares of this palm oil producer issuer. Then, PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI) and PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) both recorded around 21.82 million shares in the net volume column, with total foreign purchases of 53.07 million shares for BUMI and 96.22 million shares for BBRI. Furthermore, foreigners purchased 52.47 million shares of the automotive issuer, PT Astra International Tbk (ASII), bringing the net volume to nearly 21 million shares.

Meanwhile, the lowest net volume this time was -26.60 million shares of PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (TLKM). According to reports, foreign investors sold more than 57.27 million TLKM shares. Then, approximately 30 million shares of PT Adaro Energy Indonesia Tbk (ADRO) and PT Ace Hardware Indonesia Tbk (ACES) were also sold by foreign investors, with net volumes of -25.56 million ADRO and -21.27 million ACES, respectively. With a net volume of -20.11 million and a sales volume of 21.50 million shares, PT Delta Dunia Makmur Tbk (DOID) was close behind. Finally, foreigners sold 21.86 million shares of PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk (PGAS), bringing the net volume to nearly 20 million shares. (KD)
