JAKARTA - On May 12, more than 1.02 billion shares of PT Widodo Makmur Unggas Tbk (WMUU) were purchased by PT Pendanaan Efek Indonesia (PEI), a funding firm established by the Indonesian Capital Market Self-Regulatory Organization (SRO). This transaction directly transfers 7,92% ownership of the poultry farm issuer to the investor. The stock of PT Widodo Makmur Perkasa Tbk (WMPP), the parent company of WMUU, was also doing well. As a result of Tumiyana's purchase of 400 million shares of WMPP, the CEO and individual investor of this company now own 33.6% of the company.

Moreover, PT Elang Mahkota Teknologi Tbk purchased 66.80 million shares of hospital issuer PT Sarana Meditama Metropolitan Tbk (SAME), and PT Sejahtera Jaya Cita invested in coal issuer PT Resource Alam Indonesia Tbk (KKGI) by purchasing 60.20 million shares. PT Merdeka Energi Nusantara, the company that owns the majority of PT Merdeka Battery Materials Tbk (MBMA), bought another 9 million shares of this subsidiary, and PT Delta Dunia Makmur Tbk (DOID) bought back 2.30 million shares. Then, with around 2.2 million shares each, PT Bogamulia Nagadi purchased additional shares in PT Tempo Scan Pacific Tbk (TSPC), and PT Akulaku Silvrr Indonesia made an investment in PT Bank Neo Commerce Tbk (BBYB).

In contrast, GOTO Peopleverse Fund sold 95.65 million shares of PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO), and the Credit Suisse AG Singapore Trust sold 10 million shares of PT Visi Media Asia Tbk (VIVA), an issuer of convergence media. (KD)
