JAKARTA - On Monday, June 12, trading by foreign investors ended with net volume remaining negative. Foreigners bought 2.90 billion shares overall, while 3.63 billion shares were sold. As a result, the net foreign volume this time was -731,280,400 shares. PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO), an on-demand service provider whose 2.18 billion shares were let go by foreign investors, contributed around -619.42 million of that figure. In contrast, foreign investors purchased shares of PT Nusantara Sawit Sejahtera Tbk (NSSS), a company that produces palm oil, for up to 126.83 million, and its net volume became the highest at 125.96 million shares.

Along with GOTO, foreign investors sold shares of PT Dayamitra Telekomunikasi Tbk (MTEL), a telecommunications infrastructure company. With a net volume of -91.24 million shares, at least 124.04 million shares were let go. Then, around 50.28 million shares of Panin Group's financing company, PT Clipan Finance Indonesia Tbk (CFIN), were sold by foreign investors with humble purchases, resulting in a net volume decline of roughly -46.07 million shares. Overseas investors also sold approximately 30.09 million shares of PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk (PGAS) and 26.85 million shares of technology issuer PT Wir Asia Tbk (WIRG), giving both issuers a net volume of about -25 million shares.

Meanwhile, foreign investors also bought substantial amounts of stock in the media company PT Surya Citra Media Tbk (SCMA) and the telecommunications company PT Smartfren Telecom Tbk (FREN), totaling 53.35 million FREN and 58.68 million SCMA, respectively. Although SCMA's net volume was only about 19.02 million, FREN's was slightly higher at 27.40 million. Furthermore, despite the fact that BUMI's purchase volume (68.58 million) was significantly higher than BBKP's (18.46 million), both the mining issuer PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI) and the private bank PT Bank KB Bukopin Tbk (BBKP) reported a net volume of approximately 16 million shares.
