NUSA DUA – CEO of PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk is crowned the Best CEO in Infrastructure Service at TOP CEO Awards 2023 held by Tempo.co and IDNFinancials last Friday (1/12) at Sofitel Nusa Dua Beach Resort, Bali. Subakti Syukur is deemed capable of leading Jasa Marga through the pandemic crisis, maintaining its performance even amidst mobility restriction policy.

Syukur was appointed as CEO in June 2020, right at the height of the pandemic crisis. But even so, he managed to save his company from devastating loss, turning the profit from minus IDR 42 billion in 2020 to IDR 2.3 trillion at the end of 2022, surpassing the numbers seen in 2019 before pandemic.

Syukur is not a new face in Jasa Marga. Prior to his position as CEO, he held key positions Jasa Marga Group, including President Director of PT Marga Lingkar Jakarta (2014-2016) and General Manager of Cawang-Tomang-Cengkareng Toll Road (2008-2013). Fully devoted, he also took office as commissioner of several subsidiaries of Jasa Marga, making him worthy of his title as the Best CEO in Infrastructure Service.

For the record, TOP CEO Awards 2023 is the second collaborative event held by Tempo.co and IDNFinancials, following the launch of Indeks52 last June. The award is given to 43 CEOs of publicly listed companies on IDX as a way to appreciate impressive performance shown by them during the pandemic, as well as highlighting their positive contribution towards ESG issues.
