Foreign buying and selling volume reached 8 billion shares; net foreign closes were minus 111 million shares
JAKARTA - On Thursday, November 30, the foreign buying and selling volumes were both around 8 billion shares, with the foreign selling volume at 8.73 billion shares and the foreign buying volume at 8.62 billion shares. As a result, net foreign volume on the last trading day of November ended at -111.67 billion shares. Meanwhile, the total net foreign volume in November was -2.31 billion shares.
The shares of digital company PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) were purchased the most, amounting to around 3.03 billion shares for a net volume of 1.28 billion shares. Furthermore, with a net volume of 51.36 million shares, approximately 104.52 million shares of PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (BRMS) in the mineral mining industry were purchased. Foreign investors also purchased 186.61 million shares of minimarket retail company PT Sumber Alfaria Trijaya Tbk (AMRT) and 197.83 million shares of petrochemical and energy company PT Barito Pacific Tbk (BRPT), resulting in net volumes of roughly 34 million shares each. Apart from that, around 34.06 million shares of PT Cardig Aero Services Tbk (CASS), which operates in flight training services, were also purchased, and the net volume was 33.96 million shares.
Meanwhile, shares of the coal mining company PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI) were the most sold, with around 2.09 billion shares sold for a net volume of -795.37 million shares. Shares of the telecommunications company PT Smartfren Telecom Tbk (FREN) were the next shares sold by foreign investors at around 420.90 million shares with a net volume of -232.81 million shares. PT Vale Indonesia Tbk (INCO) shares were sold for 242.39 million shares, with a net volume of -99.33 million shares in the nickel mining industry. Shares of PT Bank Neo Commerce Tbk (BBYB) in the banking sector were then sold for about 175.79 million shares, with a net volume of -57.44 million shares. Finally, foreign investors sold 111.32 million shares of PT PP (Persero) Tbk (PTPP), resulting in a net volume of -56.94 million shares. (KD)
