JAKARTA - On Wednesday, January 10, the foreign sell volume reached 2.15 billion shares, while the foreign buy volume was approximately 1.76 billion shares, resulting in a net foreign volume of -390.36 million shares. One of the factors contributing to the high foreign sales volume was the sale of 387.31 million shares of coal mining company PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI), resulting in a net volume of -282.96 million shares.

Aside from that, around 133.15 million shares of advertising services company PT Era Media Sejahtera Tbk (DOOH) were sold for a net volume of -118.13 million shares. Shares of the digital company PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) remain on the top-seller list, with foreign investors selling 226.60 million shares for a net volume of -51.39 million. In addition, shares of PT Solusi Sinergi Digital Tbk (WIFI), which provides advertising services and digital products, were sold for 33.03 million shares, with a net volume of -27.95 million. Foreign investors then sold 48.80 million shares of PT Astra International Tbk (ASII) in the automotive industry, for a net volume of -24.56 million shares.

Meanwhile, shares in energy resources infrastructure business PT Astrindo Nusantara Infrastruktur Tbk (BIPI) and telecommunications company PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (TLKM) were both purchased for around 66 million shares. The acquisition of the two issuers resulted in BIPI's net volume of 63.93 million shares and TLKM's of 12.86 million shares. Shares of the integrated shrimp cultivation company owned by PT Central Proteina Prima Tbk (CPRO), which were purchased for 22.62 million shares, and shares of the investment management company PT Pacific Strategic Financial Tbk (APIC), which were purchased for 21.76 million shares, both produced a net volume in the range of 20 million pieces. Finally, foreign investors purchased 18.04 million shares of television broadcasting business PT Surya Citra Media Tbk (SCMA) for a net volume of 13.19 million. (KD)
