JAKARTA. PT MNC Kapital Indonesia Tbk (BCAP), a holding and investment company owned by MNC Group, will issue 2 series of bonds with double digit coupons.

In the prospectus submitted, BCAP will issue Shelf Registration Bonds IV MNC Kapital Indonesia Phase I/2023, with a total principal amount of IDR 260 billion. This bond is part of BCAP's Shelf Registration Public Offering (PUB) IV program with a target of raising IDR 650 billion.

In the first phase of issuance, BCAP offered Series A Bonds amounting to IDR 170.62 billion and Series B Bonds IDR 24.37 billion. The coupon offered for Series A Bonds is 11.02% and Series B 11.69% per year. Meanwhile, the tenor for each series is 370 calendar days and 3 years from the date of issuance.

Later, the funds obtained from the BCAP bond issuance will be channeled to pay off the 2022 MNC Kapital Indonesia Shelf Registration Bond III Phase I Series A. This bond will mature in January 2024. The remaining funds from the bond issuance will be channeled to the company's working capital.

"This bond is guaranteed by a special guarantee in the form of a pledge on the company's shares in PT MNC Digital Entertainment Tbk (MSIN) with a value of at least 125% of the principal value of the bond," explained BCAP Management.

The bond public offering period will take place from 11-16 January. 2024. Meanwhile, the bond listing on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) is scheduled for 22 January 2024. (KR/LM)
