JAKARTA - On Monday, February 12, foreign investors recorded a foreign purchase volume of around 4.34 billion shares. Meanwhile, the foreign sales volume was just 2.99 billion shares, bringing the net foreign back to surplus at 1.35 billion shares. Foreign investors purchased the most shares in the digital company PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO), totaling 2.12 billion shares with a net volume of 473.23 million.

Then, 123.91 million shares of logistics and mining services business PT Ancara Logistics Indonesia Tbk (ALII) were purchased, for a net volume of 116.12 million shares. In the banking sector, approximately 134.41 million shares of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) were purchased, for a net volume of 94.37 million shares. Foreign investors then purchased 151.59 million shares of PT Buana Lintas Lautan Tbk (BULL) in the domestic and foreign shipping sectors, for a net volume of 86.01 million shares. Furthermore, about 101.30 million shares of PT Astrindo Nusantara Infrastruktur Tbk (BIPI) were purchased in the energy resources infrastructure area, for a net volume of 69.43 million shares.

On the share sales list, 48.68 million shares of PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk (UNVR), a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) company, were sold for a negative net volume of nearly 40 million shares. Shares of the integrated media business PT Media Nusantara Citra Tbk (MNCN) and paint producer PT Avia Avian Tbk (AVIA) both reported net volumes of -20 million shares, where foreign investors sold 40.83 million MNCN shares and 24.74 million AVIA shares. Moreover, foreign investors also sold 18.75 million shares of the banking company PT Bank BTPN Syariah Tbk (BTPS) and 37.01 million shares of the petrochemical and energy company PT Barito Pacific Tbk (BRPT), resulting in a net volume of -17 million shares.
