JAKARTA - PT HM Sampoerna Tbk (HMSP) booked revenue of IDR 115.9 trillion in 2023, up 4.29% year-on-year (yoy) from 2022 sales of IDR 111.21 trillion. The profit also increased 28.44% yoy from 2022.

Based on Financial Report 2023 quoted Monday (18/3), the sales mostly came from sales to third parties, amounting to IDR 114.97 trillion, followed by sales to related parties of IDR 1 trillion. In 2022, third-party sales dominated with IDR 110.73 trillion, while related-party sales clocked up to IDR 480.71 billion.

Based on the product, sales of machine-rolled kretek cigarettes contributed IDR 68.92 trillion, followed by hand-rolled cigarettes’ of IDR 25.94 trillion, machine-rolled white cigarettes’ of IDR 8.06 trillion, hand-rolled white cigarettes’ of IDR 999.60 billion, and others of IDR 1.04 trillion.

The gross profit was recorded at IDR 19.33 trillion, up 12.65% yoy from IDR 17.15 trillion seen in 2022. The gross profit margin was seen at 16.6%, increasing from 15.42%. Lastly, its net profit attributable to the parent entity was IDR 8.09 trillion, soaring from IDR 6.23 trillion. (LK/ZH)
