API (Hong Kong) Investment now holds 13% Bukalapak.com (BUKA) shares
JAKARTA - On Friday, March 22, a foreign investor, API (Hong Kong) Investment Limited, purchased 13.44 billion shares of e-commerce company PT Bukalapak.com Tbk (BUKA). Following the transaction, which involved the use of two securities—Citibank, N.A., and BUT Deutsche Bank AG—API has taken ownership of approximately 13.04% of BUKA shares.
In addition, several individual investors seemed to acquire more shares. Fathi purchased roughly 13.22 million shares in PT Koka Indonesia Tbk (KOKA), a construction company, and Edwin Soeryadjaya purchased 2.75 million shares in PT Saratoga Investama Sedaya Tbk (SRTG), an investment company. Robin, another individual investor, expanded his holdings in PT Royal Prima Tbk (PRIM), a hospital company, by 1.7 million shares. On top of that, 1.01 million additional TSPC shares were added by PT. Bogamulia Nagadi, the controlling shareholder of the pharmaceutical company PT Tempo Scan Pacific Tbk (TSPC).
This time around, PT. Abadi Kreasi Unggul Nusantara recorded the largest share sale, selling 40 million shares of information technology company PT Andalan Prima Tbk (INET). Additionally, 8 million shares of the beverage company PT Ultrajaya Milk Industry & Trading Co. Tbk (ULTJ) were sold by individual investor, Sabana Prawira Widjaja.
Several foreign investors also reduced their shares, beginning with Paradiso Resources Ltd., which sold 9.5 million shares in PT Bakrie Sumatra Plantations Tbk (UNSP), the plantation company. In addition, GOTO Peopleverse Funds sold about 866 thousand shares of the digital company PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO), and Citibank Singapore S/A Government of Singapore also sold 3.65 million shares of the telecommunications infrastructure company PT Dayamitra Telekomunikasi Tbk (MTEL).
