JAKARTA - On Monday, April 1, there was only a slight difference between foreign share buying and selling activity, with both volumes at 2.15 billion shares. As a result, net foreign volume closed at around 3.16 million shares of surplus. The foreign investors purchased the most shares in the digital company PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO), totaling around 646.20 million shares for a net volume of 240.38 million.

Following GOTO, 42.41 million shares of the aerosol services firm PT Estee Gold Feet Tbk (EURO) were purchased, with no shares sold, resulting in the same amount of net volume. Shares of the minimarket chain company PT Sumber Alfaria Trijaya Tbk (AMRT) were also purchased for 37.22 million shares, for a net volume of 29.83 million shares, followed by the purchase of 28.95 million shares of the oil and gas distributor company PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk (PGAS), for a net volume of 27.08 million shares. Approximately 30.64 million shares of PT Gajah Tunggal Tbk (GJTL) in the tire production sector were then purchased, for a net volume of 24.84 million shares.

Meanwhile, foreign investors also sold some of their shares recorded in the top-selling list. Starting with the sales of three banking companies: 122.93 million shares of PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI) with a net volume of -96.55 million shares; 129.83 million shares of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) with a net volume of -55.88 million shares; and 50.31 million shares of PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) with a net volume of -33.35 million shares. Moreover, shares of PT Telkom Indonesia Tbk (TLKM) in the telecommunications sector were sold for 165.75 million shares, with a net volume of -53.17 million. Finally, shares of PT J Resources Asia Pasifik Tbk (PSAB), a gold mining investment company, were sold for 48 million shares for a net volume of -39.32 million shares. (KD)
