JAKARTA - Share sales transactions done by foreign investors on Monday, April 22, showed a larger figure, namely 2.47 billion shares, compared to the volume of foreign buy of only around 2.16 billion shares. As a result, net foreign volume totaled -303.92 million shares.

The sale of 139.07 million shares of multinational shipping business PT Berlian Laju Tanker Tbk (BLTA) began the top-selling list, with a net volume of -139.03 million shares. The shares of two banking businesses, PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) and PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA), were sold next. Foreign investors sold 222.90 million BBRI shares (net volume -86.84 million) and 118.77 million BBCA shares (net volume -65.22 million). Around 158.37 million shares of e-commerce company PT Bukalapak.com Tbk (BUKA) were also sold, for a net volume of -60.77 million shares. PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) shares were then the final to be sold, totaling about 505.47 million shares and a net volume of -43.35 million.

Meanwhile, the most shares purchased belonged to the nickel ore mining company PT Trimegah Bangun Persada Tbk (NCKL), which were purchased for 41.56 million shares, and the net volume was 26.21 million shares. In second place, 28.37 million shares of PT Timah Tbk (TINS), a tin mining company, were purchased, for a net volume of 16.61 million shares.
