JAKARTA - Foreign investors were seen selling more shares on Thursday, April 25, bringing the total number sold to nearly 3 billion shares. Meanwhile, the recorded foreign buying volume was only 2.72 billion shares, resulting in a net foreign volume of around -275.24 million. The most shares purchased belonged to the digital company PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) with 742.21 million shares with a net volume of 106.88 million shares, while the shares with the highest sales belonged to the banking company PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI), which sold 356.28 million shares with a net volume of -172.17 million shares.

The list of share sales continued with the sale of 352.33 million shares of PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI) in the coal mining sector, for a net volume of -145.82 million shares. Aside from that, 95.27 million shares of e-commerce company PT Bukalapak.com Tbk (BUKA) were sold, for a net volume of -78.41 million shares. In the telecoms sector, PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (TLKM) shares were sold for 259 million, resulting in a net volume of -45.22 million. In addition, 32.15 million shares of PT Sarana Mitra Luas Tbk (SMIL), a forklift rental company, were sold, for a net volume of -27.32 million shares.

On the other hand, PT Maharaksa Biru Energi Tbk (OASA) shares in the renewable energy sector were purchased for 108.11 million shares, for a net volume of 103.58 million shares. The energy resources infrastructure company PT Astrindo Nusantara Infrastruktur Tbk (BIPI) and the aerosol services company PT Estee Gold Feet Tbk (EURO) then have a net volume of almost 30 million shares each after foreign investors bought 33.09 million BIPI shares and 29.26 million EURO shares. Finally, 43.98 million shares of PT Industri Jamu dan Farmasi Sido Muncul Tbk (SIDO), which manufactures herbal medicines, were purchased for a net of 23.32 million shares. (KD)
