JAKARTA - Net foreign volume remained negative until Friday, April 26, totaling -197.93 million shares. This was driven by fewer share-buy transactions, which resulted in a total foreign buy volume of 2.92 billion shares. Foreign sell volume, on the other hand, was estimated to be 3.12 billion shares. The most shares sold belonged to the banking company PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI), namely 554.68 million shares, with a net volume of -412.37 million shares.

Apart from that, 332.73 million shares of PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (TLKM) in the telecommunications sector were sold, with a net volume of -84.71 million shares. 53.02 million shares of household equipment retail firm PT Ace Hardware Tbk (ACES) were then sold for a net volume of -36.94 million shares, followed by the sale of 39.98 million shares of e-commerce company PT Bukalapak.com Tbk (BUKA) for a net volume of -36.27 million shares. In the petrochemical and energy industries, PT Barito Pacific Tbk (BRPT) shares were sold for 46.30 million, with a net volume of -23.46 million.

Meanwhile, the acquisition of 996.75 million shares of digital company PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) began the top-buy list, with a net volume of 320.06 million shares. Foreigners also purchased 74.92 million shares of lifestyle retailer PT Mitra Active Adiperkasa Tbk (MAPA), resulting in a net volume of 56.75 million shares. In addition, about 90.58 million shares of the leasing business PT BFI Finance Indonesia Tbk (BFIN) were purchased, for a net volume of 55.68 million shares. In the renewable energy sector, 42.10 million shares of PT Maharaksa Biru Energi Tbk (OASA) were purchased, for a net total of 41.18 million.
