Foreign net volume remains stable in green zone and closed at 741.38 million shares
JAKARTA - Foreign net volume on Wednesday, May 28, remained consistent in the green zone, closing at approximately 741.38 million shares. The foreign buying volume was 4 billion shares, while the foreign selling volume was 3.26 billion shares. Just like the previous day, shares of the digital company PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) remained at the top, with the greatest share buy of 1.98 billion shares and a net volume of 733.97 million shares.
Aside from that, 160.51 million shares of the consultancy and investment company PT Panin Financial Tbk (PNLF) were purchased for a net volume of 90 million shares. In the mineral mining industry, foreign investors purchased 87.06 million shares of PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (BRMS), with a net volume of 70.42 million shares. Subsequent share purchases, both in the range of 77.81 million shares, were made to the energy resources infrastructure company PT Astrindo Nusantara Infrastruktur Tbk (BIPI) with a net volume of 66.14 million shares and the electric vehicle battery manufacturing company PT Merdeka Battery Materials Tbk (MBMA) with a net volume of 64.86 million shares.
According to the share sales list, foreign investors also sold shares in two banking firms at the same time: PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) and PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA). The sale of 194.68 million BBRI shares, with a net volume of -85.57 million shares, was followed then by the sale of 63.91 million BBCA shares, with a net volume of -29.51 million shares. The following share sale was conducted to PT Lippo Karawaci Tbk (LPKR), which operates in the property development sector, with foreign investors selling 62.22 million shares for a net volume of -41.65 million shares. Furthermore, shares of the industrial area development company PT Puradelta Lestari Tbk (DMAS) were sold for approximately 27.26 million shares, with a net volume of -23.04 million.
