JAKARTA - Bank Panin's subsidiary of a securities company, PT Panin Sekuritas Tbk, recently acquired 5.18% of shares in PT Energi Mega Persada Tbk (ENRG), after purchasing 1.28 billion shares on Monday, May 27. On the other hand, PT Shima Global Kapital, which owns 23.42% of ENRG, sold approximately 450.72 million shares, reducing its stake to 21.6%.

The next shopping target was PT Media Nusantara Citra Tbk's (MNCN) shares, as PT Global Mediacom Tbk increased its stake in this media company by 36.38 million shares. As a result, Global Mediacom's share increased slightly to 39.74%. The controller PT Sinar Mas Cakrawala also increased the number of shares in PT Sinar Mas Multiartha Tbk (SMMA), which provides financial services, by 11.97 million. Then two issuers are recorded as having purchased their own shares, or buybacks: coal contractor PT Delta Dunia Makmur Tbk (DOID) with 9.04 million shares and cement producer PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk (INTP) with 66,200 shares.

Meanwhile, Tan John Tanuwijaya, an individual investor, sold 19.50 million shares of PT Berdikari Pondasi Perkasa Tbk. The fashion company PT Bersama Zatta Jaya Tbk (ZATA)'s controller, PT Lembur Sadaya Investama, also released approximately 10.45 million shares, resulting in an insignificant decrease in ownership to 72.52%. Furthermore, The Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes at the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Indonesia has yet to dispose of shares in the construction company PT Totalindo Eka Persada (TOPS), this time totaling 6.62 million shares.
