Net foreign volume posts surplus of 58.12 million shares
JAKARTA - After days of being in the red zone, net foreign volume on Thursday, June 20, finally entered the green zone, although with just 58.12 million shares. The foreign buying volume was around 3.50 billion shares, while the foreign selling volume was 3.44 billion shares. Foreign investors then began buying shares by purchasing 105.69 million shares of domestic and foreign shipping services company PT Buana Lintas Lautan Tbk (BULL), for a net volume of 83.21 million shares.
The next shares purchased were 148.25 million shares of e-commerce company PT Bukalapak.com Tbk (BUKA), with a net volume of 50.50 million shares. In the energy resources infrastructure sector, 52.60 million shares of PT Astrindo Nusantara Infrastruktur Tbk (BIPI) were purchased, for a net volume of 38.43 million shares. Furthermore, almost 50 million shares of coal mining company PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI) were purchased, for a net volume of 37.39 million shares. PT Solusi Sinergi Digital Tbk (WIFI) shares, which focused on advertising services, were then purchased for 41.56 million shares, with a net volume of 32.62 million shares.
In the top-selling list, shares of the digital company PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) were the most sold (1.85 billion shares), with a net volume of -120.13 million shares. Foreign investors also sold 261.22 million shares of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) in the banking sector, resulting in a net volume of -49.66 million shares. Apart from that, shares of PT Sarana Menara Nusantara Tbk (TOWR), which works in the investment and telecommunications support services sectors, were sold for 49.25 million shares, with a net volume of -41.41 million. Shares of the petrochemical company PT Barito Pacific Tbk (BRPT) were then sold for 37.97 million shares, for a net volume of -26.15 million shares, followed by the sale of 16.12 million shares of the property company and industrial area developer PT Bekasi Fajar Industrial Estate Tbk (BEST), for a net volume of -15.83 million shares.
