JAKARTA - Share sales transactions by foreign investors on Monday, July 1, resulted in a foreign selling volume of almost 2 billion shares, 1.97 billion shares to be precise. Foreign buying volume was 1.79 billion shares, resulting in a net foreign volume of 186.64 million shares. Furthermore, foreign investors began buying shares in PT Buana Lintas Lautan Tbk (BULL), a domestic and foreign shipping services company, purchasing 79.28 million shares for a net amount of 58.21 million shares.

In addition, 57.87 million shares of PT Samudera Indonesia Tbk (SMDR), which operates in the logistics and freight sectors, were purchased, for a net volume of 34.95 million shares. PT Estee Gold Feet Tbk (EURO), an aerosol services firm, had a buying volume and net volume of around 30 million shares because only a small portion of its shares were sold. In the petrochemical sector, 91.01 million shares of PT Barito Pacific Tbk (BRPT) were acquired, for a net volume of 25.06 million shares. Shares of PT Merdeka Battery Materials Tbk (MBMA), an electric vehicle battery producer, were then purchased for approximately 32.37 million shares, with a net volume of 22.92 million shares.

Meanwhile, foreign investors also participated in share sale operations, which began with the sale of 122.51 million shares of property development company PT Agung Podomoro Land Tbk (APLN) with a net volume of -121.47 million shares. In the same sector, PT Bekasi Fajar Industrial Estate Tbk (BEST) shares were also sold for 95.56 million shares, with a net volume of -93.87 million shares. The digital company PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) then got the most shares sold, totaling 251.54 million shares with a net volume of -71.65 million shares. Around 51.04 million shares of PT Maharaksa Biru Energi Tbk (OASA) in the renewable energy sector were sold, resulting in a net volume of -48.18 million shares. Finally, shares of the state-owned bank PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) were sold for 169 million shares, with a net volume of -33.94 million shares. (KD)
