JAKARTA – Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) reported gaining strength to the green zone at today’s (5/7) opening session this morning. Yesterday (4/7), JCI’s closing position was at 7,220.88.

Based on the data of Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) compiled by IDNFinancials, JCI was opened at 7,251.84. Although corrected at the early minutes after the opening bell, JCI saw bullish trend to 7,270.30 at 10 AM WIB.

This positive sentiment affects other indices, including LQ45 that moved to 909.143, up 1.03%; IDX30 that shifted 1.13% to 453.391; IDX80 that went 0.80% upwards to 126.860, and IDXESGL that increased 0.97% to 158.921.

Several stocks that were seen growing alongside JCI’s uptrend include PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI), PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI), PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBNI), and PT Astra International Tbk (ASII). (LK/ZH)
