JAKARTA - Share sales activities on Wednesday, July 10, were fantastic, with foreign sales volume hitting 6.23 billion shares. One factor contributing to this high figure was the sale of 4.19 billion shares of the digital company PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO), resulting in a net volume of -3.57 billion shares. Meanwhile, foreign buying volume was only around 2.06 billion shares, bringing net foreign volume down to -4.16 billion shares.

The share sale proceeded with PT Berkah Beton Sadaya Tbk (BEBS), a building materials and equipment trading company, which were sold for 419.25 million shares for a net volume of -418.75 million shares. PT Smartfren Telecom Tbk (FREN) shares in the telecommunications sector were also sold for 84.60 million shares, with a net volume of -84.60 million shares due to the tiny number of shares purchased by foreign investors. Furthermore, 77.34 million shares of the banking business PT Bank KB Bukopin Tbk (BBKP) were sold for a net volume of -64.13 million shares, followed by 91.51 million shares of the media firm PT Media Nusantara Citra Tbk (MNCN) for a net volume of -55.89 million shares.

Foreign investors then conducted share purchase transactions too, starting with the purchase of 79.97 million shares of PT Astrindo Nusantara Infrastruktur Tbk (BIPI) in the energy resources infrastructure sector, with a net volume of 63.89 million shares. Apart from that, about 50.03 million shares of domestic and foreign shipping services business PT Buana Lintas Lautan Tbk (BULL) were purchased, with a net volume of 40.30 million shares. Shares of PT Kawasan Industri Jababeka Tbk (KIJA), which develops industrial areas, were also purchased for almost 50 million shares with a net volume of 39.62 million shares. Shares of the state-owned telecommunications operator PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (TLKM) were then purchased for 78.80 million, resulting in a net volume of 33.28 million shares. Foreign investors later completed the list of net foreign by purchasing 51.44 million shares of the banking corporation PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA), for a net volume of 20.50 million shares.
