JAKARTA - A major issuer has once again welcomed PT Majukarya Mandiri Indonesia as a new investor. This investor bought 722.34 million shares of PT Buana Lintas Lautan Tbk (BULL), a shipping company that handles both domestic and international shipping, on Tuesday, July 23. Through the transaction, which involved five other securities and PT KB Valbury Sekuritas, Majukarya Mandiri gained immediate control over 5.12% of BULL. Concurrently, PT Fersindo Nusa Jaya, which had previously held 6% of BULL, was observed selling 106.50 million shares, resulting in a decrease in its share percentage to 5.25%.

An investor in the manufacturer of household equipment and cosmetic aerosol PT Estee Gold Feet Tbk (EURO), PT Firstindo Finansial Corpora, has added another 20 million shares, raising its ownership from 5.52% to 6.31%. With a final share portion of 5.6%, PT Majukarya Mandiri Indonesia, however, did release 22.60 million EURO shares. The following news also came from Majukarya Mandiri: 2.32 million more shares of PT Sumber Energi Andalan Tbk (ITMA), a company that provides energy consulting services and mining, were added to its portfolio. However, PT Fersindo Nusa Jaya, another ITMA investor, sold 6.02 million shares, resulting in a minor decrease in its ownership from 10.76% to 10.16%.

Notably, Fersindo Nusa Jaya then increased its stake in PT Astrindo Nusantara Infrastruktur Tbk (BIPI), the integrated energy infrastructure company, by 117 million shares, increasing its control to 5.7%. Furthermore, through a buyback action, mining holding company PT Delta Dunia Makmur Tbk (DOID) acquired an additional 7.50 million of its own shares.Conversely, PT Batavia Prosperindo Internasional Tbk, the controller of PT Malacca Trust Wuwungan Insurance Tbk (MTWI), released up to 1.18 million shares of the insurance company. Finally, PT Suryaprana Nutrisindo sold up to 689,200 shares of PT Obm Drilchem Tbk (OBMD), an additive manufacturer for oil and gas drilling activities. (KD)
