JAKARTA - Foreign buying volume reached 3.17 billion shares, and foreign selling volume was 2.92 billion shares on Wednesday, July 31. This difference puts net foreign volume in the green zone with 248.45 million shares. The shares with the greatest acquisitions belonged to PT Exploitasi Energi Indonesia Tbk (CNKO), which works in the coal trading and steam-electric power plant sectors. The CNKO shares were purchased for 200 million shares without any shares being sold so that the net volume was at the same figure.

In addition, 126.17 million shares of e-commerce company PT Bukalapak.com Tbk (BUKA) were purchased, for a net volume of 88.79 million shares. Foreign investors also purchased 111.04 million shares of the energy resources infrastructure company PT Astrindo Nusantara Infrastruktur Tbk (BIPI), for a net volume of around 80 million shares. The shares of the aerosol services company PT Estee Gold Feet Tbk (EURO) were then purchased for 53.90 million shares, for a net volume of 45.97 million shares, followed by the purchase of 60.04 million shares of the advertising services company PT Solusi Sinergi Digital Tbk (WIFI), for a net volume of 41.70 million shares.

Meanwhile, the top-sell list included foreign investors who sold shares in two banking businesses, PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) and PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI). BBRI shares were sold for 135.32 million shares with a net volume of -69.95 million shares, while BMRI shares were sold for 73.40 million shares with a net volume of -28.60 million shares. In the coal mining sector, PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI) has around 56.96 million shares sold and a net volume of -34.09 million shares. PT Mitra Adiperkasa Tbk (MAPI) shares in the lifestyle product retail sector also sold 28.07 million shares with a net volume of -19.06 million shares. The last shares sold were those of PT Smartfren Telecom Tbk (FREN), a telecommunication company, which totaled 16.45 million shares for a net volume of -16.40 million shares. (KD)
