Volume of foreign buy and sell differ slightly, net foreign volume closed at -70.72 million shares
JAKARTA - On Monday, August 26, foreign investors' share buying and selling activities resulted in relatively similar foreign purchasing and selling volumes. Foreign buying volume stood at 2.04 billion shares, while foreign selling volume hovered around 2.11 billion shares. As a result, net foreign volume finished at -70.72 million shares.
The share purchase list then began with the purchase of 245.25 million shares of the banking company PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI), for a net volume of 76.16 million shares. In addition, 75.67 million shares of PT Maharaksa Biru Energi Tbk (OASA), a renewable energy company, were purchased, for a net volume of 73 million shares. The shares of the energy resources infrastructure company PT Astrindo Nusantara Infrastruktur Tbk (BIPI) were then purchased for 89.21 million shares with a net volume of 46.95 million shares, followed by the purchase of shares of the property company PT Summarecon Agung Tbk (SMRA) for 56.57 million shares with a net volume of 44.74 million. In the building and infrastructure sector, PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk (WIKA) shares were purchased for 49.28 million shares, with a net volume of 33.79 million shares.
Meanwhile, on the share sales list, the company PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) was ranked first after 402.20 million shares were sold and the net volume was -159.43 million shares. Shares of PT Smartfren Telecom Tbk (FREN) were also sold for about 102.14 million shares, resulting in a net volume of -101.64 million shares. In the banking sector, 90.76 million shares of PT Bank KB Bukopin Tbk (BBKP) were sold, for a net volume of -73.90 million shares. Furthermore, 100.86 million shares of PT Sarana Mitra Luas Tbk (SMIL), which works in the forklift rental sector, were sold for a net volume of -70.23 million shares.
