3.4 billion Bank Permata shares released by Bangkok Bank (BNLI)
JAKARTA - On Friday, August 23, Bangkok Bank Public Company Limited released more than 3.47 billion shares of PT Bank Permata Tbk (BNLI), a banking company. Previously holding 98.71% of the shares, this foreign investor from Thailand is Bank Permata's controller. But as a result of the most recent transaction made through PT Mandiri Sekuritas, its share portion is now only 89.12%.
Moreover, Chemical Asia Corporation Pte Ltd, a foreign investor, released nearly 71 million shares of PT Victoria Investama Tbk (VICO), a holding company that offers integrated financial solutions. Prinsep Management Limited had also sold 9.43 million shares in PT FAP Agri Tbk (FAPA), a producer of palm oil. In addition, some domestic investors made the decision to also sell shares. PT Goldfive Investment Capital was the first to do so, selling 7.05 million shares of PT Bintang Samudera Mandiri Lines Tbk (BSML), a logistics and shipping company. Furthermore, Ryanto Husodo sold about 2.94 million shares of PT OBM Drilchem Tbk (OBMD), a provider of special loss circulation additives to the drilling industry.
On the other hand, PT Arthakencana Rayatama bought 15.50 million more shares of fuel distributor PT AKR Corporindo Tbk (AKRA). PT Panin Sekuritas Tbk then purchased 8.72 million shares of PT Elnusa Tbk (ELSA), an issuer in the oil and gas industry.
Following that, PT Delta Dunia Makmur Tbk (DOID), the holding company for coal mining, bought back 2 million of its own shares, bringing the total number of shares held to 742.80 million. PT Ekadharma Inti Perkasa next purchased 500,000 shares of PT Ekadharma International Tbk (EKAD), a manufacturer of adhesive tape, aluminum foil, cling wrap, and related materials. Ultimately, PT ABM Investama Tbk (ABMM), a strategic investment company, received funding from an additional 180 thousand shares from individual investor Lo Kheng Hong. (KD)
