JAKARTA – Noticing promising prospect for its industrial area, PT Surya Semesta Internusa Tbk (SSIA), a property, construction, and hospitality company, has raised marketing target for Suryacipta City of Industry, Karawang, and Subang Smartpolitan for 2024.

Erlin Budiman, VP Head of Investor Relations of SSIA, mentioned that the remaining landbank inventory at Suryacipta City of Industry, Karawang, of 68 hectares (ha) is projected to be sold out next year.

In addition, Subang Smartpolitan, an integrated industrial, commercial, and residential area, has just welcomed its first anchor tenant, the renowned electric vehicle manufacturer, BYD, on April 30, 2024.

“BYD has become our largest and first tenant, contracting a land of over 108 hectares,” added Budiman when leading the presentation during Public Expose Live 2024 of SSIA today (29/8).

The development of Phase I of Subang Smartpolitan has begun since Q4 2020. “The first handover took place last year (Q3 2023), handed to a Japanese company, and is projected to start operation in Q4 2024,” said Budiman.

SSIA seems highly optimistic with the prospect of Subang Smartpolitan, particularly because the area has direct access to Trans-Java toll, while preparing for a direct access to Patimban Port through a toll road that will start the groundbreaking in Q4 2024 and operate in Q1 2026.

With these areas in high demand, SSIA responds by increasing marketing sales target in 2024, from a land of 65 hectares to 184 hectares. “It is equal to sales worth IDR 2.2 trillion,” added Budiman.

With this surge in marketing sales, SSIA is driven to set an ambitious target for its top line and bottom line in 2024. “FY2024 consolidated revenue of SSIA is projected to increase roughly 23% to IDR 5.6 trillion, with net profit grows around 182% to IDR 500 billion,” added the management in the press release quoted today.
