JAKARTA - At the end of August, around 589.74 million shares of PT Bakrie & Brothers Tbk (BNBR) were sold by Levoca Enterprise Ltd. On Friday, August 30, this foreign investor's stake in the manufacturing and infrastructure sector company decreased to 31.64%, from 32.01%. PT Investindo Nusantara Sekuritas was appointed as the transaction's facilitator.

A reduction in shares was also made by the foreign investor CGS International Securities Singapore Pte Ltd, which released 177.34 million shares of the property and real estate development company PT Intiland Development Tbk (DILD). Currently, CGS International owns about 14.47% of the company. Additionally, it was noted that HSBC Bank Plc had sold 2.65 million of its shares in PT Apexindo Pratama Duta Tbk (APEX). As a business, APEX provides onshore and offshore drilling services.

Next is the release of 30.66 million shares held by consumer finance company PT Woori Finance Indonesia Tbk (BPFI) by PT Batavia Prosperindo Internasional Tbk and 20 million shares of clothing manufacturer PT Pan Brothers Tbk (PBRX) by PT Trisetijo Manunggal Utama.

However, Sabana Prawira Widjaja added 8.80 million shares to his holdings in PT Ultrajaya Milk Industry & Trading Co.Tbk (ULTJ). Presently, he owns 34.39% of the company's shares in the food and beverage producer. Within the energy sector, PT Panin Sekuritas Tbk purchased 4.20 million shares of the oil and gas company PT Elnusa Tbk (ELSA), and Gafur Sulistyo Umar purchased 3.85 million shares of the renewable energy company PT Maharaksa Biru Energi Tbk (OASA).

Additionally, PT Goldfive Investment Capital raised its stake in PT Bintang Samudera Mandiri Lines Tbk (BSML), a company that provides shipping and logistics services, by 3.16 million shares. Lastly, investor Lo Kheng Hong continues to increase the number of shares he owns in the investment firm PT ABM Investama Tbk (ABMM), adding 420,700 shares this time. (KD)
