JAKARTA. PT Waskita Toll Road (WTR), a subsidiary of PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk (WSKT), has channelled a loan facility worth IDR 270 billion to PT Cimanggis Cibitung Tollways (CCT).

The loan is a non-revolving loan, and will be allocated gradually, according to the shareholder loan facility agreement dated September 10, 2024. For the record, WTR is CCT’s shareholder with stock portion of 35%.

The loan facility is granted to CCT in order for refinancing, so that the company may speed up the payment of its syndicated loan. “This transaction is expected to provide added value to WTR as CCT’s shareholder,” said the management of WTR in the information disclosure in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).

According to IDNFinancials data, CCT was established in 2008 with issued and paid-up capital of IDR 80 billion. As of December 31, 2022, 55% of CCT’s shares were controlled by PT Sarana Multi Infrastruktur (Persero). Then, another 35% belongs to WTR, followed by PT Bakrie Toll Indonesia of 5% and PT Bakrie and Brothers Tbk (BNBR) of 5%. (KR/ZH)
