JAKARTA - On Monday, September 23, PT Tripar Multivision Plus Tbk (RAAM) welcomed PT MNC Digital Entertainment Tbk as a new investor. MNC Digital, which holds a direct 9.09% stake in this production company, was able to acquire up to 619.42 million shares through a private placement. However, because of this corporate action, the controller of RAAM, Ram Jethmal Punjabi, actually recorded a decrease in the portion of shares, from 77.33% to 70.3%. More than 4.78 billion shares are listed as being owned by him personally.

In addition, 537.02 million shares of PT PP Properti Tbk (PPRO), a PT PP subsidiary that deals in real estate, particularly residential, retail, and edutainment properties, were acquired by PT Asuransi Jiwa IFG. Additionally, nearly 50 million shares of cement manufacturer PT Semen Baturaja Tbk (SMBR) were acquired by the same investor. PT Bank CIMB Niaga Tbk handled both of the transactions.

Then, PT Sinar Mas Cakrawala, the controller of PT Sinar Mas Multiartha Tbk (SMMA), acquired another 5.46 million shares of the financial services provider. Additionally, 1.19 million shares of PT Wintermar Offshore Marine Tbk (WINS), an issuer that offers transportation services to support businesses in the gas and oil industry, were purchased by individual investor Pinky NK.

However, PT Samuel Tumbuh Bersama sold 12.08 million shares of PT Nusantara Sawit Sejahtera Tbk (NSSS), a producer of palm oil. Several foreign investors also reduced their holdings. CGS International Securities Singapore Pte Ltd released 1.69 million shares of the company that issues gold exploration and mining permits, PT Wilton Makmur Indonesia Tbk. Following that, Equatorex Sdn Bhd sold 948,400 shares of PT Tanah Laut Tbk (INDX), a business providing seaport services.

Finally, even though the total number of shares held did not decrease, Ruhong Holding Pte Ltd still reported a decrease in shares in office equipment distributor and manufacturer PT Perma Plasindo Tbk (BINO), from 88.55% to 88.54%. (KD)
