JAKARTA - On Wednesday, September 25, shares of the digital company PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) were sold in significant numbers, totalling 4.18 billion shares, for a net volume of -122.54 million shares. This transaction helped contribute to the rise of the foreign sales volume at 7.17 billion shares. Meanwhile, foreign buying volume was just 6.86 billion shares, resulting in a net foreign volume of -318.64 million shares.

In addition, foreign investors sold shares in two banking companies: 422.14 million shares of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) with a net volume of -310.69 million shares and 135.29 million shares of PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI) with a net volume of -77.73 million shares. Shares of the multimedia business PT Surya Citra Media Tbk (SCMA) were also sold, totalling 243.12 million shares, with a net volume of -136.03 million shares. In the telecommunications sector, PT Smartfren Telecom Tbk (FREN) shares were sold for 57.76 million shares, resulting in a net volume of -57.01 million shares.

On the other hand, PT Maharaksa Biru Energi Tbk (OASA) which focuses on the renewable energy sector placed first on the top buy list with 109.38 million shares bought and a net volume of 106.49 million shares. The e-commerce company PT Bukalapak.com Tbk (BUKA) was then purchased for 257.98 million shares with a net volume of 104.67 million shares, followed by the purchase of 83.73 million shares of the domestic and foreign shipping services company PT Buana Lintas Lautan Tbk (BULL) with a net volume of 81.49 million shares. Furthermore, 151.51 million shares of the mineral mining business PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (BRMS) were purchased, for a net volume of 78.74 million shares. Finally, 48.05 million shares of PT Kawasan Industri Jababeka Tbk (KIJA), which specialises in industrial development, were purchased for a net volume of 35.41 million shares. (KD)
