Foreign net volume remains stable in green zone, closing at 70.86 million shares
JAKARTA - Foreign net volume remained consistent in the green zone on Wednesday, October 16, closing at 70.86 million shares, as it had in previous days. The foreign buying volume was 4.61 billion shares, while the foreign selling volume was 4.54 billion shares. The shares with the highest sales were owned by the digital company PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO), which were sold for up to 2.15 billion shares with a net volume of -597.40 million shares.
In second place, shares of the mineral mining company PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (BRMS) were sold for 105.15 million shares, and the net volume was -50.45 million shares. Shares of property firm PT Alam Sutera Realty Tbk (ASRI) were then sold for around 26.04 million shares, for a net volume of -24.40 million shares, followed by the sale of 32.06 million shares of technology business PT WIR ASIA Tbk (WIRG), for a net volume of -23.74 million shares. In addition, 85.83 million shares of coal mining business PT Adaro Energy Indonesia Tbk (ADRO) were sold, resulting in a net volume of -20.85 million shares.
Foreign investors began buying shares on the top buy list, purchasing 129.19 million shares of the hotel and resort management company PT MNC Land Tbk (KPIG) for a net total of 83.29 million shares. In the energy resources infrastructure sector, 65.04 million shares of PT Astrindo Nusantara Infrastruktur Tbk (BIPI) were purchased for a net volume of 58.80 million shares. Shares of PT Elnusa Tbk (ELSA), an oil and gas company, were then purchased for 97.33 million shares, with a net volume of 54.54 million shares. Foreign investors were also seen buying shares in state-owned telecommunications businesses, namely PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (TLKM), totaling 148.23 million shares with a net volume of 49.52 million shares. Finally, 81.40 million shares of herbal medicine manufacturer PT Industri Jamu dan Farmasi Sido Muncul Tbk (SIDO) were purchased, for a net volume of 46.48 million shares. (KD)
